Shipping & delivery

Shipping method
Our chairs are packed in cardboard boxes and need some minimal assembly before use. For the time being we are using temporary off-the-shelf boxes and recycled packaging, and hope to have our bespoke boxes soon. All parcels are sent via our preferred courier service.

How long before I receive my goods?

As an independent growing company we rely on our lovely customers who pre-reserve with no commitment. When have a viable quantity to order our specially-made, bespoke components, we’ll get delivery dates from our manufacturing partners, let everyone know estimated shipping dates and then open up for pre-orders.

We hope to be producing in Batches approximately every three months going forward. Please sign up to our contacts on our homepage if you’re interested.

The delivery time will depend on where in the world you are located, but a tracking number will be provided and you can track your delivery from there.

Do you ship internationally?


We’re currently shipping to the UK, European Union, United States and most other countries worldwide. Due to the current volatility in shipping costs we ask that customers outside of the UK and EU get in touch. We’d love to talk to you and can check out the cheapest shipping for you.

If you wish to make a purchase and want to check we can deliver to you, please contact us to find out and for delivery costs. Delivery charges are per item. If you would like to purchase any of our products in bulk, please get in touch. Delivery times will vary by location or time of year. To be on the safe side, it’s probably best to allow for 7-10 days for deliveries outside the UK. Please note that the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.

Orders shipped to countries outside of the UK may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. Any additional charges for customs clearance must also be borne by the recipient. Hesed Design has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be and is not responsible for any additional fees incurred.

Do you charge VAT?
The cost of VAT is included in the purchase price if you live in the UK and NI.

Is my transaction secure?
All our transactions are handled through Stripe or Paypal. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. Hesed Design will never share or sell your details to a third party.

What’s the return and refund policy?
We’re confident you will love your chair or stool, but if for any reason you’re not happy with it, you can return it to us within 60 days for a full refund on the purchase price (not including original postage costs). All orders must be returned (unused or in a resalable condition) within 60 days of receipt. Just contact si@hesed.design and we’ll arrange a collection, or postage label to be sent to you (depending on your location). We will ask you to pay for the return postage. Once we receive the returned item(s) the original charges will be credited to you.

My order has arrived damaged, now what?
In the unlikely event of your order arriving damaged, please email: si@hesed.design, within 3 days of receipt and we’ll take care of it for you.
